Yan Chai Hospital Integrated service for Pre-primary Institutions

Provide training and care for children and families with special needs. To maximize the potential of children with special needs, improve their cognitive, motor, emotional, social and self-care abilities.

Service goals:

• Provide individual and group training for children with special needs.
• Provice suggestions to class teachers and assist them in adjusting teaching activities and courses.
• Contact the families in need, provide counseling and help children in all-around development.

Yan Chai Hospital Pre-school support service Teacher in Pre-school Education Support

On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services will offer on-site services to participating kindergartens (KGs) and kindergarten-cum-child care centers (KG-cum-CCCs) to provide early intervention to children with special needs. We also provide professional advice for kindergarten teachers/child care workers, and render support to the parents.

Service goals:

• Adopt the effective module combining school-based support and centre-based professional traning.
• Provide training to kindergarten teachers for providing appropriate intervention to children.
• Equip parents with the necessary knowledge and skills of nourishing children with special needs.
