School Induction

Parents of new students are invited to join the “New Student Orientation” before the start of school:

  • Get to know the physical and emotional changes of children when they first start school; Help children adapt to the new school life.

  • Get to know the school daily schedule.

  • Get to know the school services and procedures of the Fee Remission Scheme.

  • Encourage mutual understanding between the school and parents, and exchange information with parents.

  • Distribute the parent handbook covering essential information for assisting parents in preparing their children for school.

New Semester Parents’ Day

  • Enhance parents’ understanding of the school, cultivate a sense of belonging and identity towards the school.
  • Introduce to parents school services, affairs and activities in the coming school year.
  • Explain to parents class-based features and give update on the curriculum progress.

Induction activities for new students - “Parent-Child Game Day”

In order to help new students make a smooth transition, induction activities are organised for students every year. The “Parent-Child Game Day” allows both children and parents to get familiar with the school environment and facilities in a relaxing, pleasurable atmosphere and thus enhance children’s interests in going to school. These induction activities will give new students a great start for their new life.
